Awesome Screenshot : Google Chrome Extension for Taking Screenshots

As a blogger, it is very important to decorate or explain your article's topic with at lease a single image. So, it is very important to upload at least one picture in your article. When you are writing about a website or things like that, screen shots are important. The most favorable way known is - Press PrtScSysRq, go to MS Paint, paste the screenshot and crop it. This way definitely takes a bit longer time than you want. If you are a blogger who likes to put screen shots in his/her posts and are a Google Chrome user, then I have got a perfect replacement for MS Paint screenshot system.

Awesome Screenshot : Create and Annotate is a Google Chrome extension which not only let you take screen shots but also edit or upload(on the web for a link) them. I have tried several extensions made for screen shots and Awesome Screenshot was the one which impressed me the most. Let me talk about its features.

Awesome Screenshot lets you take screen shots in three ways :-
1. Capture Visible Part of Page : Captures the part of page which is visible. Then opens a new tab with editing tools. It's your choice whether you want to save the whole visible part or crop from it.
2. Capture Selected Area : Captures the selected area from the page. It actually means cropping directly from the webpage. Edit the cropped area in the new tab and you are done.
3. Capture Entire Page : Captures the whole webpage and opens a new tab for all the cropping, editing, etc. It takes a bit more time to take the screenshot unlike the above two.

Awesome Screenshot enables you to upload your screenshot temporarily(for 3 days) or permanently. You can also share your screen shot on Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz, Gmail, Yahoo Mail and Hotmail after you upload the screenshot.

Shut Up Devil's Extension Review
This extension, as already mentioned above, is my favorite extension for taking screen shots. I decided to review it after trying several extensions. The editing options are good and give options which you really needed. The options are - Crop, Rectangle, Ellipse, Arrow, Line, Free Line, Blur, Text and Color Picker. The response is quick and hence worth trying.
